Shane
Owner & Head Instructor
Shane received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt April 2021, from World Champion Vicente Jr, making him Garrett County's first and only BJJ Black Belt. He also has a purple Pra jiad under Kru Joe Stripling. Shane has competed over the years in BJJ, Submission grappling, MMA, and Muay Thai. After more than a decade competing, training, learning, and teaching he returned back to Garrett County to open Nomad in 2019.
Dan
Youth & Adult Kickboxing
With almost 40 combined bouts in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA Dan has been able to compile years of experience and knowledge to share. He's been leading both youth & adult programs since 2019 at Nomad.
Melinda
Women's Kickboxing
In 2022, Melinda became the areas first Nak Muay Ying (female Thai Fighter) winning her debut in March and recently fighting 3 times in 24 hours to bring home Silver at WKA US Nationals. She puts a lot of time into creating a welcoming class focused on quality striking and fitness.
